Le Plié

Part of the MARCHÉ collection, these baskets celebrate the natural threads, fibers and vines that sprout across the archipelago of the Philippines.  Raffia has had distinct popularity in fashion but its cousins such as pandan and wicker play equally timeless and oh-so-stylish roles in this collection.  These baskets have a very layered and intricate journey before they arrive onto your arms.  They are composed of work from artisans from 3 different islands. The final product is meant to have this essence of effortless elegance but the voyage to achieve this look is based on dedication, organization and skill.
